The new Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) Women’s Entrepreneurship Report reveals a significant increase in women’s startup activity rates, rising from 6.1% to 10.4% on average across 30 GEM-participating countries between the 2001-2005 and 2021-2023 surveys.
